Verdict
Synonymy and Vacario have won here before but have shown little of late to merit siding with. Shergill won when last seen over timber but disappointed over fences last time out and considering he is more miss than hit we will avoid on this occasion. Saintly Lady is consistent but may once more be playing for the frame places, whilst Sea Cliff was third when last seen in the controversial race at Hereford where Am I Blue won. Prior to this though he was twenty one lengths behind CAHEERLOCH at Newton Abbot, so Nigel Twiston-Davies option has better claims and gets the vote. He is in great form and may just have found the trip a little far on heavy ground at Newton Abbot when second most recently. With three miles the trip on ground that should suit here, he can score. The dangers include Kopylova who won on her only appearance so far here and Silver Phoenix who faces an 11lb rise in the ratings which is off-putting. Caheerloch receives the nomination.
