In depth

Verdict

Favourites have won all four previous runnings of this contest and Tot Of The Knar can continue that sequence with success here from Our Choice. The selection is well clear on official BHA ratings, having 21lb in hand on those official figures following very easy wins both here over c&d and also at Newton Abbot. Fast ground suits and she looks a most progressive mare who can take this in her stride. If there are any mishaps with the 'jolly' then Our Choice can take advantage. Charlie Mann's gelding has been consistent in novices' company and won at Southwell last time, but does not look to have the same scope for improvement. Over Ice acts on fast ground and along with So Extreme may be one who can battle it out for third prize, but in truth there is little of interest here apart from the top two and Tot Of The Knar gets a very confident vote.
