In depth

Verdict

A very decent contest for the track and time of year as a number of these look capable of holding their own at a higher level. DEIREADH RE proved a little disappointing over fences last season but, refreshed by a break, came good at Fontwell last month. He won twice over hurdles on good ground so the quicker surface here shouldn't be a problem and he can get the better of April's Wetherby second Twirling Magnet and Buachaill Alainn, who was a shade disappointing when beaten at Wetherby last month. Special Account finished ahead of Brassick over 2m4f here recently but a return to the longer trip will suit the latter and also Market Rasen runner-up Pantxoa. Weekend Millionair has won three times over hurdles and could also play a part tackling fences for the first time.
