Verdict
ROUND TOM should be one for the champion trainer granted a clear round on his chasing debut. A potential improver with just six hurdle runs under his belt, he's always looked a chaser in the making and will handle trip and ground. He travelled really well when just mugged late on at Hereford last time over three and a quarter miles and this three furlong drop looks ideal. He also impressed when landing a three mile hurdle here in June. Dual purpose performer, Markington, does nothing but stay and came from another county when runner-up on his chasing debut and will certainly be plugging on at the finish. Oursininlaw, a fair hurdler, looks next best although scheduled to make his chasing debut in the Uttoxeter 7.00 on Monday night.
