Verdict

Intriguing to see what the Leech team make of The Outlaw after buying him out of a Southwell seller in which the Presenting gelding hacked up by 12l for Paul Nicholls. The view is obviously that he's better then selling grade but he does come with quirks attached and is hard to assess back in novice company. Kalondra did well to score over course and distance this month and can be marked up for the run having pulled hard. An obvious contender here, especially if settling better, he is nevertheless taken on with ALLELU ALLELUIA, much improved when scoring at Aintree last month and just the sort his trainer will improve steadily throughout the summer jumping campaign. Weyburn would have a chance if rediscovering his best.
