This is a wide open bumper to close the card and the leading lights look to be True Dove, Nez Rouge and Didbrook with the vote given to True Dove. The selection was a little disappointing last time at Fakenham when she raced wide and did not appear to handle the track. However, she has raced with plenty of promise on her debut in a bumper at Huntingdon when she finished second behind Apollo Lady and with the return to this faster surface in her favour she looks the percentage call. Nez Rouge failed to get home on his debut at Huntingdon on heavy ground, so he may be seen to better effect here and it would be foolish to write him off. Didbrook was well-beaten on her debut but she showed considerable improvement last time when finishing a close third behind Satchelamn over this course and distance. A reproduction of that effort would make her competitive today. Liverpool never threatened on his debut at Market Rasen but he showed he does have some ability and he may come on for the run. He is one to note in the market, but for the winner we will return to True Dove.
