Verdict

Astute Boy hails from a yard going really well at present and this Flat winner is sure to have learned plenty from his fifth at Uttoxeter. Acker Bilk has won over 1m4f on Tapeta and Fibresand this year so is an interesting newcomer for the Pipe team. Casemates Square is another debutant worth a market check while Shadow Sadness was only head at the last here last month having won on the Flat in France and Germany. THEPENSIONFUND is a rare runner here for Lucinda Russell and can return with the spoils. He travelled really strongly in a bumper at Ayr on his racecourse debut and is a half-brother to two winning jumpers.
