    Verdict

A competitive handicap to start proceedings, though Full continues to frustrate and the novice Mr Kit Cat will need to improve on a well-beaten second at Newton Abbot. Honkytonktennessee is possibly too high in the weights now while Indian Voyage has been struggling to get his head in front. LITTLE POP alternates between hurdles and fences but Zac Baker won on him over the larger obstacles at Market Rasen last time and he’s preferred to King Alfonso. A switch of stables seems to helped the latter, but he has a lot more to do than his recent victory here in a novice event.
