        Verdict

        Despite modest form figures, FLIBBERTIGIBBET is proving remarkable consistent. She still has a bit of scope for improvement on Turf and got going too late last time at Lingfield. Epic Express travelled strongly for a long way here last time and connections may have finally found his optimum distance but Rockesbury’s win here last month came over 6f. Sceptred Isle has been racing over further and may struggle for pace but Redcar third Royal Guard can’t be left out of calculations.
