Habanero Star was successful three times here last year and made a winning reappearance at Southwell. MC’TED ran twice at the track last year, winning a year ago and finishing second off a 4lb higher mark in August. With Alice Bond again taking off 7lb, the race-fit five-year-old may be the answer to a tricky opener as Miss Harmony was behind Medrara at Chelmsford in March before winning at Lingfield. The locally-trained Eljaytee has only gone up 3lb for a recent course and distance win with Solanna also interesting under Oisin Murphy.
