        Verdict

        Related to middle-distance winners, SOLO MISSION has his first try beyond a mile and should be suited. He makes his handicap debut on a very low mark after the obligatory three runs in decent maiden company and could complete a quick double for jockey and trainer and he’s less exposed than most. De Vegas Kid and Bartholomew J are fit from the all-weather but have hardly set the sand alight with their exploits and the others have even less to recommend them.
