      Verdict

      The vote here goes to Blue Minx but just about all of them can have a case made for them. First Byte was very cheaply acquired but his breeding is not offputting and Frankie Dettori has been booked to ride. Watch the betting. Skezhara did not show a great deal on her debut, where Baytown Lulu finished two lengths ahead of her. Baytown Lulu then finished a one-and-a-quarter length second to Blue Minx at Wolverhampton, but the latter now has to carry a five-pound penalty. That makes it close, but do we trust all-weather form to be carried forward to Turf? With One Trick Pony having finished last of seven - although beaten only six lengths - despite attracting money on his debut, that remains the $64,000 dollar question. The answer for us lies in Blue Minx.
