Verdict
Martin Smith has tried to tie up this low-grade handicap as he runs both the hat-trick seeking In The Red and also Herringswell, who recorded a three-timer of his own in the autumn. But both are better on the all-weather and Chloellie is 0-7 on Turf. We’ll take a chance on the returning DANECASE, who has won over this trip even though he is better known as a sprinter. Inner Circle has tumbled down the ratings so can’t be ignored.
