        Verdict

        PRINCESS SHABNAM sets a very decent standard on last month’s second to Frankella at Newmarket when Red Joan, who cut out the early running, was well behind. Aunt Bethany and Basholo are both well-related fillies who are worth monitoring with a view to the future but Perfect News may be the more forward. She is by Frankel and only the second foal to race of the stable’s Lowther winner Besharah. Ruggles is by Exceed And Excel but there is a lot of stamina on her dam’s side.
