        Madame Jones (IRE) Failed in an attempt to win 10th race of the season behind Tony Tie on Monday; this represents a big drop in class and has solid claims if over Monday's contest.

        Prince du Soleil (FR) Better effort over seven furlongs here last time but generally disappointing.

        Nawader (USA) No real encouragement from previous efforts this term.

        Mr Speaker (IRE) Looks on the downgrade at the age of eight and is difficult to fancy.

        Petrus (IRE) Has claims on form of Lingfield win in June but generally better over seven furlongs than a mile.
