Queen's Dancer holds solid claims at the weights but Mick Channon's filly is probably better on a faster surface and the vote goes to Street Life, who is preferred to Maxamillion. The last mentioned is proven on the ground and showed again over course and distance last month how well he handles it when a close third in a similar contest. Stargazer Jim looks to be going the right way at present and is another to consider along with Magic Amigo, although he remains a shade high in the weights at present. Uncle Bulgaria is another worthy of a mention but Street Life relishes plenty of cut in the ground and, after a couple of recent efforts on a faster surface he has slipped to a mark 1lb lower than when landing this race 12 months ago.
