Verdict

BIG BOOM can follow up a recent success with Gone 'N' Dunnett and Capone likely to give him most to think about. Mick Quinn's runner is no worldbeater but he fully deserved his success at Leicester having gone close twice at this course. There does not appear to be much more to do today. Gone 'N' Dunnett needs little introduction. He ran a stormer at odds of 50/1 last time out and seems equally effective over six furlongs. Rough Rock actually accounted for him on that occasion though was well held next time out at Nottingham on bottomless going. Robert Cowell's horses are running well so don't discount Fantasy Gladiator from running a big race. A half-brother to Suits Me, he should stay the trip. Big Boom appears best on this occasion.
