In depth
Verdict
Orpen Wide has more to do under a 6lb penalty than when beating stablemate Favouring (runs in 3.30pm race) at Beverley last time and a safer bet looks to be Ten Cents, who is preferred to Lennel. The last mentioned disappointed at Newmarket last time but looks worth another chance judged by earlier form at Brighton under conditions that suit ideally. A market move for Luca Cumani's Swains Bridge would be of interest first time in this grade but he faces no easy task giving weight away all round, while Inch Lodge should have a race of this nature within him but could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Alan Bailey's Lennel would have claims if fit enough for his return but may well need the run and preference is for Ten-Cents, who is taken to resume winning ways.
