This looks a competitive but moderate contest and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Captain Darling, who is preferred to St Ivian and Dellagio. The last two mentioned hold obvious chance on the pick of their form but would probably prefer a draw closer to the stands side rails. Blue Knight is better drawn than most but recent form leaves something to be desired, while Saintly Place is better than he showed on his return to turf at Musselburgh last time and may do better over today's longer trip. Sotonian has dropped to a favourable mark but is nowhere near as good as he once was and of more interest may be Secret Vision, who has also slipped to an attractive mark. Preference though is for the latter's stablemate Captain Darling, who is well treated on his best and has the assistance of Frankie Dettori.
