Verdict
Mugeba gets our narrow vote in an open handicap to round off the card with Essex Star and Cold Climate the pair we fear the most. The selection ran really well when third behind Straffan in a competitive race at Redcar last time, and as that form has since been franked she looks to have a leading chance here with Frankie Dettori booked for the ride. Essex Star is in good form and looks to be progressing nicely and a reproduction of her latest close second behind Banjo Bay at Nottingham would see her make the frame. Cold Climate was in good form last season but might just need run today after being off the track since September. Feast Of Romance is always capable of getting competitive in these type of events and is worthy of a mention, while Zorn is out of form but would have claims on his best efforts. However, in a tough race for punters to call we will return to Mugeba.
