Verdict

The Spencer yard took time to strike form this season but MAGICAL RIDE is one of a number of stable inmates of late to put things right. The Paco Boy gelding has landed his last two starts at the seaside venue in a manner suggesting his winning run is yet to conclude and his young 7lb apprentice is starting to create a strong impression. The combination can follow up a success here earlier this month, with lmmoral the potential spanner in the works receiving decent poundage from the selection and producing a best run yet when a fast-closing second on just a fourth start last time. Winterkoenigin and Catch My Breath have shown enough to take a hand too.
