        Verdict

        The second division of this handicap is arguably less competitive than the first but finding the winner is no less tricky. Viking Rose was beaten nine lengths when third over C&D last time but should be suited by this better ground. Crinan Classic's second at Kempton in the spring puts him on the short-list, though he returns form a break here as does Hierarch. Christine Dunnett gets her fair share of winners here and Rileys Crane has already won over 7f at the track but it could be worth taking a chance on the less-exposed SATWA BALLERINA. Ed Dunlop's three-year-old is bred to be a lot better than she's shown so far and makes her handicap debut off a very lowly mark.
