Verdict
Evanesce, Miss Truant and Red Affleck are the three to concentrate on in this class F maiden stakes and we will side with Evanesce. This filly from the Mick Channon yard has gone close on both of her starts to date and she should be able to make her racecourse experience count to lose her maiden tag at the third attempt. Miss Truant looks the chief danger as she is a well-bred filly from a yard who have a decent record in these type of events, and if the market speaks in her favour she will be very interesting. Red Affleck is the other to catch the eye on breeding and again the market could prove very informative with regards to her chances on her racecourse bow. Von Wessex will have to improve on what she has shown to date on her two runs to trouble the principles, and we are happy to stick with Evanesce as our choice.
