Verdict
If I Had Him is only a pound higher than when second at Wolverhampton in March. He's won twice since in Jersey, though that's not exactly a great recommendation. Taking into account Rosie Jessop's claim, BAAN gets 12lb from the top weight and that may be enough for James Eustace's 10-year-old to end a losing run that stretches back 18 months in a very modest contest. Soweto Star is slowly coming down the weights and could also figure but it's difficult to make a case for any of the others.
