        Verdict

        Effervescence has been placed in three novices' events though was receiving 16lb when well beaten at Beverley last month and has top weight here. She should have more to offer but looks vulnerable. Restless Rose won at Chelmsford in December and didn't reappear until last month on good ground at Lingfield but got no sort of run and is better than that. SERVILIA has only raced at Wolverhampton and has improved with each run. She makes her handicap debut on a mark of 69 which may prove lenient. Take Shelter was beaten narrowly three times last term but hasn't run since beaten a long way at Redcar in August.
