      Verdict

      King Of Stars prevailed by only a head at Pontefract and is 5lb higher today. BLUE DE VEGA could only manage third in this last year but is 7lb lower on this occasion despite winning at Doncaster last month. Bob Cowell’s sprinter gets another chance while Cairn Gorm is at home at this level though has yet to race over the minimum trip. Both Look Out Louis and Newyorkstateofmind step up in class with the former preferred.
