Verdict
DARCEY is taken to get back to winning ways, while both Cruikadyke and Equipe de Nuit are worthy of mention. The selection landed back to back victories at Newcastle and Ripon last month and was not discredited after finishing a decent third behind Whispering Spirit at Catterick last time out. The handicapper has dropped him four pounds in the weights and with that in mind he is difficult to oppose. Cruikadyke won well at Salisbury on his penultimate outing but disappointed in what looked like a tough handicap at Kempton last time out. This race will be more to his liking so any market moves should be noted. Equipe de Nuit is still winless in eleven outings but has shown enough to warrant respect. He was not beaten far at Kempton last time out and can once again be in the shake up. Darcey looks the form horse in the race and takes preference.
