Verdict
Go Between has improved with each run and now looks ready to strike, with Doohulla the main danger. There are quite a few interesting newcomers as well, such as John Dunlop's Hasayis, a Danehill half-sister to high-class Haami, who runs here instead of Newbury at the weekend. She should be noted as one to follow, but for now may have to give best to the more battle hardened Go Between. Trained by Dunlop jnr, this half-sister to the speedy Wunders Dream made her debut behind Ruby Rocket at Kempton, and has had three subsequent outings, the latest of which was a close second to Fort at Epsom. Connections are still trying to work out her best distance and she drops back a furlong here. On breeding she should be fast enough, and she faces no harder task than on any of her four career runs to date. Doohulla was green on her Goodwood debut but still finished third to Unavailable who is very highly rated by her stable. Gerard Butler's filly should come on for the outing and has place claims, but for the winner we return to Go Between.
