        Verdict

        Course regular Wild Acclaim went close over a mile here a week ago and beat Arcanista a short-head over track and trip last month. The latter is slightly better off today but it’s too close to call between those two and a chance is taken on DEEDS NOT WORDS. He came up short when sent off favourite at Windsor recently but was winning off a 12lb higher mark last year and it could be the turn of Michael Wigham’s charge once again. Strictly Carter won off a similar mark on the all-weather early this year and African Girl finished runner-up here on her penultimate start.
