      Verdict

      Set The Trend is well handicapped but hard to catch right nowadays. Luhaif won over a mile here in June but is better over that trip, as is Sir Mike, while Red Refraction's best recent run came over 6f at Ripon when he was just touched off by Duke Cosimo. Former stablemate Democretes hasn't won since his two-year-old days but has been hinting at a revival lately while The Confessor has tumbled to a decent mark and has been lightly campaigned this year. LITTLE SHAMBLES has failed twice over a mile but she was second to the smart Bragging over this trip at York last month and the ground may be quick enough for her to show her true worth here.
