Verdict

Sussex Girl got going too late when favourite in the race won by Right About Now here last month but still finished ahead of fellow course winner Tyrsal. The top weight has since only finished third behind LONG CALL (NAP) at Leicester, however, and Tony Carroll’s five-year-old was a comfortable winner that day despite being slow out of the gate and meeting trouble in-running. The latter escapes a penalty and, with Oisin Murphy taking over the reins, should take all the beating. Albert Boy was second at Catterick last week and won at Thirsk last month, though was behind Sexy Secret in an earlier run at Leicester.
