Verdict
The veteran Vainglory has obviously deteriorated but is 10lb lower than his last winning mark and will turn up one of these days. Mishrif is now a Southwell specialist but ran well the last time he performed on this track, while Nifty Kier has won on his last two visits to the track and has to be on the shortlist. FRONTLINE PHANTOM (NAP) went to Doncaster on Saturday for an apprentice handicap and duly obliged. He arrives here with no penalty and this looks no tougher so he can complete a quick double. Ela Goog La Mou gained her only victory on this track and has generally performed well here so should be considered from her lowly mark.
