Jonnie Skull has become a standing dish here and it would be no surprise if he overturned recent course and distance running with Muftarres on 6lb better terms. Brocklebank appears to have the beating of Darnathean on last month's run at Ascot and can probably be excused a subsequent run at Brighton but Kakapuka's good run of form came to an end at Sandown earlier this month and George Baker has been struggling to get his head in front in lesser company. AZRAEL was beaten in a seller at Redcar in the spring but has shown himself to be much than that in subsequent runs. He had Darnathean well behind when fourth over track and trip two runs ago and can get back to winning ways in this.
