    Verdict

Keep It Brief has gone up 7lb for winning at Kempton and will have to transfer that improvement back to Turf. Fox Shinji followed up a win at Windsor with a second on soft going at Nottingham so is an obvious candidate and Monash seems to be improving. Lottie Marie wasn’t disgraced in first-time cheekpieces at Chester and teams up here with Hollie Doyle but the vote goes to GLEN ESK, who didn’t get the run of the race at Chelmsford and has dropped a pound since a staying-on third on soft ground at Windsor.
