Verdict

Nothing strong but COLONEL FRANK has put together a decent sequence in similar contests and is a hopeful choice although he could probably do with a little respite from the handicapper. However, if he settles well and gets a soft lead, William Carson may be able to dictate affairs on his terms. Human Nature has found better form the last twice and should be a player if doing so again but Viscount Loftus looks the bigger danger as he's not been running too badly in better races. He hasn't been so impressive around the idiosyncrasies of Chester recently but does have a win on his scorecard at this venue. Garth Rockett has a claim in receipt of so much weight from rivals but Majestic Moon and Arnason need to improve on recent efforts.
