In depth

Verdict

KHELMAN is proving frustrating but has gone very close on a couple of occasions. Outclassed in a tough handicap last time, a mark of 78 is normally good enough to win an ordinary maiden such as this and Richard Fahey's charge gets another chance. Today's opposition has shown little so far and Speedfit Boy has 10lb to find with the selection despite finishing runner-up over track and trip on his debut. Clearing finished a bit closer on her latest start at Lingfield but, like Harbour Captain, she has yet to race on Turf. Oh So Sassy was nearer last on her introduction but Chester Row would not have to be anything special to figure on his debut.
