Verdict

GLORIOUS STAR opened his account at Southwell in good style earlier in the month. Ed Walker's charge can take care of today's modest opposition on his handicap bow and go in again. Global Leader landed a double at Wolverhampton before finishing third at Musselburgh last time and is upped a further 3lb. Two No Bids was winning on the all-weather in December but was well beaten here last month despite racing off a lower mark on Turf. Afkar's only win so far came over track and trip in 2012 while Spin Artist remains out of sorts despite tumbling down the weights.
