        Verdict

        A competitive field goes to post for this fillies handicap with many in form rivals in opposition including Marnie, Lunar Leader, Annijaz and Sharp Secret and we will take a chance on Marnie. The filly from the John Akehurst yard was a good second behind Adobe last time out under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort would make her hard to beat. Lunar Leader rates the main danger on her latest victory over Burley Fireband but she may struggle to give over a stone and a beating to Marnie. Annijaz is another that could go well but ran as if the handicapper had caught up with her when well beaten last time. Sharp Secret is another with place claims but gave the impression she needed further when fourth behind Flowerdrum last time. Of the remainder Titian Lass is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to stick with Marnie.
