      Verdict

      With his stable in flying form, MOORBIK, who cost 30,000gns as a foal and more than six times that as a yearling and is a half-brother to eight winners, can make the most of the experience gained at Newcastle in December. First Connection never really got going at Nottingham and Ironside was a long way last at Newmarket twelve days ago so the main threat looks to be the newcomer Lost Gold. The Godolphin colt is by Dark Angel out of a mare who has produced winners with her first three foals including a Group 1 winner in France.
