Verdict
River Kirov looks almost guaranteed to get some prize money here but with his mark looking enough to stop him winning we instead prefer TYFOS to land this decent looking handicap while on this form Filligree has to be respected. The ground conditions look ideal for the selection who missed out by less than a length last time off this mark. That was following a good win in similar conditions and he should go well again. River Kirov put in a good performance to run into the places last time finding his three pound mark rise just prohibitive after a neck success on his penultimate start. He races off the same rating again so more prize money beckons. Filligree is in good heart but has found two pounds added to her load despite finding one too good last time and although she should still be in the mix the extra weight and unsuitable ground look against her. Errigal Lad is still weighted in the competitive category so should be considered but in a good contest TYFOS is our idea of the winner.
