Verdict
Deep Intrigue had a tough race at Newmarket when prevailing by a neck over today’s trip while BLACKHEATH (NAP) ran well over 6f at Haydock on his reappearance. The latter is only 3lb higher than scoring over 7f at Leicester last year and should go close again. Pennywhistle is another expected to do better back over this longer trip while Burford Brown won at Newcastle the last time he raced over 7f and has recently switched yards. Zap is still looking to end a long losing run while Lady Of Aran is regularly placed off similar marks.
