Cordial would not have to be anything special to reappear with a bang and gets the vote over Party Ploy and Recount. Sir Mark Prescott always knows the merits of his string and you can be sure that if there is any money at all for Cordial, he will run a big race here. He has not been seen since disappointing at Salisbury over a year ago, but is sure to have strengthened up now after being described a baby when opening his account at Redcar earlier. The ground should not be a problem as connections said it was plenty fast enough when he won, so with scope to progress, the son of Charnwood Forest is the pick. Richard Fahey has been very profitable to follow thus far, and Opening Ceremony has paid her way with two successes. She did appear to weaken markedly behind Rotuma at Leicester though and might now be too high in the weights. Party Ploy has in the main been profitable to follow, but is creeping up the ratings and his style of running will make him susceptible to an attack from behind, not that that will be easy in this ground. He should go well but we are going to take a chance that Cordial is ready to do himself justice.
