        Verdict

        Going along with the 14-year-old THE TATLING may be viewed as a sentimental choice but this really does look a fine opportunity for the veteran to post career success number 17. The level of his recent form is light years away from his halcyon days but he's in good nick at present and the form book gives him every chance of defying top weight. Imaginary Diva could push him hard if producing her best but she's not the most consistent of mares and is only 1-24 on turf. Bobby's Doll has returned from a lengthy absence in good heart and is less exposed than her rivals, whilst The Strig would get involved if recapturing his form of early 2010.
