      Verdict

      SIGNOR SASSI scored over course and distance the last time he raced in this grade. Dropping back down in class after a third at Ascot, Bill Knight's charge gets the nod. Maglietta Fina and Piazza San Pietro were both well beaten in the same race at this track a fortnight ago and Lionheart was expected to do better over 7f at Wolverhampton last time. Miliika has claims if ready for action on her belated reappearance and Commanche isn't out of this off his current mark.
