      Verdict

      Royal Residence didn’t help his cause hanging left at Lingfield last month and was still in contention when clipping heels and unseating at Nottingham last time. Rocket Action is looking to put a poor effort at Newmarket behind him for last year’s winning yard having undergone wind surgery since and fitted with first-time headgear on his return. Stablemate Victory Angel finished just behind Polybius at Windsor at the start of the month though the former hasn’t won since landing this contest for a different trainer in 2017 and MAJAALIS is preferred. The latter won a novices race at Doncaster last time and more is expected from the Haggas colt now handicapping for the first time.
