      Verdict

      Mabroor and Wise Venture made winning debuts at Haydock and Newbury respectively and, with winners coming out of both races, they have to be considered leading contenders. MONNOYER also made a winning debut at Wolverhampton, but couldn't keep up with the furious pace in a hot novice race over 5f at York last time. This extra furlong should suit and Frankie Dettori keeps the ride. Brighton winner Red Hearts continues to improve, but the newcomers may struggle to get involved.
