Verdict
An uninspiring contest made up of largely disappointing types but Tenaja Trail is the obvious exception and should take advantage of this suitable opportunity. The Willie Haggas-trained gelding stepped up on his sole juvenile effort when a close runner-up in a similar event behind a useful yardstick at Yarmouth last month and a reproduction may suffice. Dark Flower is exposed as being nothing out of the ordinary so newcomer Newtonian will not need to be anything special to figure at the first time of asking and is worth noting in the market.
