        Verdict

        Mark Johnston has his team ticking over nicely this season and Winged D'Argent can do his bit to further oil the cogs. The selection's stablemate Hearthstead Wings should be capable of making this a good test, while Lost Soldier Three has gone well here in the past and can be expected to throw down a strong challenge. Kieren Fallon has a very profitable record when riding for the Luca Cumani yard and, as the former champion jockey is in such good form at present, Lost Soldier Three will not be found wanting for assistance from the saddle. The drop in trip will also suit him. Hearthstead Wings was not disgraced in the Queen's Vase last month and should again give a good account of himself. Another to note is Grampian, who is a reliable performer that has some solid form to his name. However, he does have a bit to find with Winged D'Argent judging by their previous encounter at Lingfield and, with the ease in grade very much expected to help Winged D'Argent along today, this looks another one for the Johnston team if all goes to plan with their main hope.
