          Verdict

          It was soft ground when Arctic Feeling won last year's renewal under Sammy Jo Bell. He has to come into the reckoning once again but THREAVE (NAP) arrives in the form of her life. She has a 10lb hike to contend with but made all to complete a hat-trick by over four lengths in soft going at Goodwood last time and is worth sticking with. Blithe Spirit went close at Haydock last month with Lexington Place, My Name Is Rio and Desert Ace behind and would figure with a repeat though she has subsequently finished behind Roudee at the same track. Noble Storm has slid down the weights this year and could go well while Captain Dunne is preferred to Adam's Ale on the likely going.
