Verdict

EAGLE COURT was far too keen at Newbury on his reappearance but this is more his trip and he should be thereabouts if settling better. Robert Walpole hasn’t been with Roger Varian for long but has already won at Southwell. Obsidian Knight often attracted market support on the all-weather but this will be his first start on the Turf. Kihavah will have gone into plenty of notebooks after an unfortunate run at Chester last week and Highwaygrey is racing off a decent mark if he manages to stay the extra with a recent run at Thirsk another plus.
